Librarians connect people, organizations and communities with the information and resources they need to succeed.  They can also be trusted to provide you with your next great read.  VoteLibraries means that libraries and librarians will receive the support necessary to enable them continue to serve communities and individuals in the many varied ways, in which only they can.

Maker Spaces by Amanda Lenz - Low Res

Maker Spaces” by Amanda Lenz

Libraries are the one place in our communities where emerging artists, crafters, and makers can collaborate with other creators to learn, collaborate and discover together. In many communities, the library is the only gallery or performance or creative space that is open to all. VoteLibraries means that librarians can help our communities embrace discovery, refine ideas, and express our identity together.

Business Development and Job Training by Luis Prado (Red) - Low Res

Business Development and Job Training” by Luis Prado

Libraries are, fundamentally, community tool kits and librarians show people how to really use the tools to discover, create, re-imagine, and improve their own lives and their neighborhoods. Well resourced libraries matter because they open doors. From enough computers to the right kind of ebooks to the art materials kids use to discover, VoteLibraries means that our librarians have the resources they need to support all kinds of learning and expression.

Access to Tech by Shan James - Low Res

Access to Tech” by Shan James

Libraries are at the center of our communities because they support every aspect of our community development. Today’s libraries look a lot different than even a decade ago. But while the work librarians do has changed, the reasons haven’t. VoteLibraries means that our librarians have the resources they need to connect people to new ideas and to each other in our neighborhoods and around the world.

Acces to Information by Vikram Nongmaithem - Low Res

Access to Information” by Vikram Nongmaithem

Libraries are, fundamentally, weird places. They are filled with stuff that is available to everyone free of charge. VoteLibraries means that this 150 year long American experiment in open access and mutual support continues. If you haven’t gone to the library in a long time, this old institution deserves a fresh look.
